Managed and conducted all Product Design Engineering responsibilities within the company including: enhancements to current products, custom product designs, new product development, product quality assurance, and sales and manufacturing support. Managed and conducted new product projects through all stages of product development including: conceptual design; prototype design and fabrication; supplier coordination; costing of prototype and production parts and tooling; development of test criteria and procedures; and evaluated test data analysis to confirm safety, quality, and standards compliance. Created detailed product models and drawings using 3D CAD software, developed complete bills of material, and provided detailed product specifications, and production support. Led design reviews and cross functional team meetings as needed throughout projects. Component designs included: sheet metal, plastics, and powdered metals.
