I was responsible for planning and implementing ParishSOFT's annual Users' Conference, designing smaller one-day regional conferences, managing our exhibiting plan at other conferences, and other event-based projects in our marketing department. This position involved everything needed to make ParishSOFT events a success, including site-selection, marketing, registration, implementation and follow up. This position was eliminated after ParishSOFT was acquired by Ministry Brands.

After leaving full time work for DECA and FCCLA, Brad continued to assist those associations several ways. Michigan DECA hosts eight District Conferences; he is responsible for tabulation and announcing at all of them, and has been the onsite administrator for several each year. He has been the tabulation coordinator at the State Career Development Conference every year, and does the layout and design of Michigan DECA’s newspaper, Spotlight on DECA. Brad’s experience in association management combined with his volunteer experiences in youth ministry set him up for success in this role. In this position, he was responsible for the formation of over 200 high school students that were active in the program through retreats, weekly catechesis and small groups, weekly prayer meetings, individual mentorship, and service activities. He developed a new leadership development program, building a team of high school students responsible for middle school ministry in 2010 which continues to thrive. Unafraid of change and recognizing a need for renewal, he led a strategic planning process resulting in a highly-successful and radically different catechetical program, and developed programming and resources to help parents of teens. He has also been very blessed to work closely with and be mentored by Barbara Morgan, foundress of the Catechetics program at Franciscan University of Steubenville, who is currently the Director of Religious Education at Christ the King.
