As the IT Director for UAMS Northeast, I am responsible for implementation and oversight of IT services for both the UAMS Northeast Family Medical Clinic and the UAMS Northeast Residency Program.I maintain the facilities Centricity CPS 12 EHR and its ancillary systems as well as the server and network infrastructure. As the team project leader, I oversee and coordinate the day-to-day progress of IT project tasks and assist with problem resolution. I analyze customer environments and develop project plans to implement new EMR installations or upgrade existing systems.My team supports over 150 physicians associated with the medical center as well as over 20 medical.

As the team Systems Engineer I specialized in the deployment of server infrastructure for ambulatory EMR systems including EncounterPRO, GE Centricity Physician Office (5.6, 6.X, and 9.x), Centricity Practice Solutions 10, Aprima, and Greenway PrimeSuite. I also provided clinical staff support and training for Meditech HIS (6.x).My primary duties included.

As a System Administrator, I Installed and maintained various Windows Server based systems including domain controllers, medical application servers, and Citrix XenApp environments.I performed day to day user administration and advanced technical support and worked with the medical center Help Desk on problem resolution.

As a Network Technician, I provided first response Help Desk support via phone and on-site service. I maintained the medical center 3M Encoder and Vistakeane Transitional Care systems. I also installed and maintained workstations and printers.
