Manager for Sailing and Marine Sports at one of Australias largest regatta and training clubs. Regatta Director for events from State and National to World Championships. RQYS is the host club of the annual Queensland Youth Week regatta and the Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race as well as a host of State and National level regattas and races placing it firmly atop the list as Australia's busiest racing club. Managing a team of staff, overseeing the Sailing Academy, directing regattas and training and responsible for the clubs High Performance Pathway. In addition as the Head Coach being responsible for athlete development and mentoring of younger coaches to facilitate the pathway from Learn to Sail through to competition and developing a Sport for Life culture at the Squadron.

Club Coach for the Squadrons Youth Racing squads. Supervising coach for Optimist, Lasers, Flying 11's and Youth Match Racing. Regatta Coach at State, National and World Championship competition, including travelling to events all around Australia and in Europe to work with Youth Sailors.Manager for the Squadrons Sailing Academy program overseeing the Tackers program, school based Start Sailing programs and Adult Keelboat programs. The RQYS Sailing Academy is the largest trainer of sailors in Queensland and is the only program in the state that services sailors and athletes in all of the Olympic feeder classes through a youth training program.

Contracted for camp and regatta coaching with the Queensland Sailing Teams Squads in the Laser 4.7, Radial and Nacra 15 classes. A substantive amount of success achieved within these classes with sailors on the team producing a number of State and National Championship successes as well as selection onto National teams and squads for athletes.

The duties of a resident master include involvement in the day to day pastoral life of a community of approximately 70 boys ranging from 13 to 18 years of age. Providing academic support as well as ensuring safety and security of the boys.

The Southport School program is the only on-campus sailing club in Queensland and has been the breeding ground of champions from State to Olympic Level. The Director of Sailing is responsible for coordinating all programs from preparatory school learn to sail, through to high performance racing squads and GPS School teams. In addition this position entails facilitation of external groups and events who hire the school and its facilities for learn to sail or competitions. Achievements: Sailors representing Australia in the Optimist and O'Pen Bic classes at World Championship level. Sailor representing Australia at the Youth Olympic Games, Multiple Australian Championship wins, GPS Champions 2014, 100% increase in the size of the program over the 2012/2013 seasons.
