Oversight of labor and employment matters at ministries (hospitals) operated by Providence St. Joseph Health, focused primarily on those ministries in the Southern California region.

Responsible for all labor-related matters at all health care facilities operated by Prime Healthcare Services. My duties included collective bargaining negotiations, arbitration hearings, grievance processing and handling, and day-to-day administration of collective bargaining agreements with multiple unions.

Oxnard/ Camarillo/ Northridge, Ca

Oversaw labor and employee relations at four hospitals operated by Dignity Health: St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo, Northridge Hospital Medical Center, and St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach. Served as the first chair at collective bargaining negotiations and arbitration hearings. Other responsibilities included responding to unfair labor practice charges, DLSE complaints, and grievances; providing advice and counsel to management on compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements; and developing strategic direction for labor-related initiatives.
