The General Manager will be responsible for the daily operations including P&L management, talent management (35 salaried and part-time employees depending on the size and scope of the operation), marketing, budgetary and inventory controls, customer service and any other requirements which may impact center operations.Accountabilities:Sales/ Community relations: To effectively market the location to the community using local, regional and national promotional services. This may include participating in local groups to develop excellent community relations to increase customer traffic to your bowling center.Safety/HR Compliance: Must maintain the assets of the company to ensure quality levels of customer service and safety compliance. Manage employees to incorporate company HR guidelines to ensure government regulation compliance.Profit and Loss (P&L): Effectively manage operational aspects to ensure profitable performance. Responsible for total center profitability and direct all activities related to customer service, merchandise flow, store maintenance, expense management, shortage prevention, human resources and sales support functions.

Responsible for the forecasting of call volumes and coordinating staffing needs based on those forecasts. Our 24 hour call center had in excess of 125 agents and serviced after hour and emergency needs for corporate clients from over 3000 Carlson Wagonlit Offices. My duties included call volume forecasting, hiring and staffing plans, creation of schedules, coordinating seniority based schedule bids, as well as approval and scheduling of all employee vacation and personal days.

Coordinated agent breaks, lunches, and other labor issues during shifts to ensure phones were adequately staffed at all times.
