Our mission is to certify leaders who know how to build and lead resilient teams. Resilient teams thrive in challenging environments because they can overcome adversity, and then adapt and grow together. Leaders build resilient teams by creating a positive climate, developing cohesion, and providing purpose. Building resilient teams makes team learning possible. Team learning is the foundation of organizational learning and change. Our certification exams assess your factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural knowledge (how) of these leader competencies.

My passion is to honor, inspire, develop and educate America's leaders for the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environments they face daily. My leadership experience spans small teams through large organizations within our U.S. military’s special operations community. I served over 26 years in our U.S. Air Force, 23 in special operations. My service provided the opportunity to work closely with many partner nations. I have served in Europe, the Pacific, and Asia. I have extensive deployed, combat experience in Afghanistan and Iraq. As a senior leader, I served as a Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Functional Manager within Air Force Special Operations Command, as a Liaison Officer to the Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command and as Deputy Commandant and Chief of Academics of U.S. Special Operations Command’s Enlisted Academy. These experiences provided me extensive proficiency with National Security, Interagency collaboration, security cooperation and assistance, and diplomacy, defense and development operations. After my retirement, I continued to serve our military members as a faculty member at the Joint Special Operations University. I served as a Course Director, Instructor and Subject Matter Expert for many courses, including the Theater Special Operations Staff Preparation Course, Non-Standard Logistics Course, Joint Special Operations Air Component Joint Operations Center Course and many more. I have been blessed to gain valuable experience as I made critical strategic and operational decisions, led cross-functional teams at all levels, designed, planned, trained, managed and shaped future operational states throughout my military career. I am a certified coach, trainer and speaker, adept with cross-cultural communications. I enjoy working with people to create high performing teams. Excellence is a habit, and growing successful teams is my forte. I enjoy the opportunity to share my experiences and help create value!

I use my 30+ years of experience in the military, special operations, and academia to assist clients by researching new topics and areas of focus, developing lessons, leading group seminars on advanced topics, and instructing in courses for both U.S. and partner nation teammates. As a skillful adjunct professor, I use my experience in the classroom, virtual settings, and using distance learning tools and remote applications to deliver to my clients and their amazing people. I work closely with the U.S. Army’s Training and Doctrine Command Intelligence Branch, Highgate Training Systems, and Threat Tec. My most recent project is developing virtual education environments for the Army’s Virtual Opposing Force Academy.

Organizational Leadership Program

Faculty member at the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU). Educate today's special operations warfighters in U.S. National Policy and its interconnections to US Special Operations Command and the regionally oriented Theater Special Operations Commands. Also educate Air Commandos on policy and processes for managing complex air campaigns from a special operations perspective. Facilitate education on how special operations and interagency elements conduct logistics operations in unique environments and during complex missions.
