Starting in January 2025, I will be working with Golden State Foods and their Liquids Division to optimize manufacturing operations for GSF's sauce, dressing, and condiment production. Since the 1970's, Golden State Foods has supplied Quick Service Restaurant and retail industries with over 50 million cases (1 billion pounds) of liquid products each year.This Spring at Golden State, I will be working within the Supply Chain Team to gain a deep understanding of their machine processes and manufacturing environment. Using my advanced knowledge of manufacturing and service systems, I hope to use these skills to make efficient recommendations for the plant, such as redesigning servers, recommending optimal repair times and time between repairs, or increasing server or buffer operating capacity. In addition, I may collaborate with the Research and Design (R&D) team to assist with development new formulas and packagings. Overall, I am excited to gain valuable hands-on experience at GSF and use what I have learned at Georgia Tech to make real supply chain differences on a large scale.

For my Georgia Tech ISyE Senior Design Project, my team and I are working with Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and their Heart Institute to redesign their inventory management system. This Fall 2024, our team met with Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) nurses, doctors, and faculty and completed on-site inventory and operating room walkthroughs to fully understand Piedmont's current system processes. This Spring 2025, my team and I will work with PHI to redesign ordering, tracking, and utilization processes/schemas. Our mission is to use advanced statistical analyzation, optimization, and forecasting techniques to create a complementary inventory management system, striking a healthy balance between minimizing costs and ensuring inventory availability for PHI's most expensive cardiovascular consumables. Overall, my team and I are pleased to serve an Institute who has served millions of Metro Atlanta residents and completed thousands of successful heart surgeries/transplants to date.

During my internship at the Naval Academy, I focused on harnessing technical solutions for the many tedious system import/export processes across the US Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation (USNAAF). By analyzing constituent and fundraising data, I was able extract valuable insights that supported the initiatives of the USNAAF, significantly enhancing the efficacy of Alumni fundraising campaigns. I led development of autonomous processes for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, which included updating constituent demographic and donor information by leveraging SQL views, stored procedures, and system orchestrations. Using what I learned in this short time, I developed several manuals and analytical reports to ensure my insights would not go to waste. Overall, I am proud to have supported the Foundation and the Naval Academy as a whole who has supported my father and family for over 25 years.
