Responsible for the IKOI mold casting machine operations. This includes, weighing raw materials with tolerances down to a thousandth of an ounce, putting the material into the molds and running them through the machine, and buffing the casted parts before sending them on to the next work station. I am also responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the area, making order requests for new graphite molds, training new employees and maintaining organization of the orders. I also assist with the continuous casting operations where I place raw material into an open furnace with tongs and extrude the metal into long bars that I cut into sections with a bandsaw.

Received files from management and re-drew them on the Torchmate program. Loaded table with sheets of metal using cranes and forklifts. Cut, ground, and labeled parts for jobs. Cleaned and maintained the table.

Assisted the welding professor in daily duties. This included prepping materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting students during class.

Fabricated square tube gates for upcoming subdivisions. Cut tubing then welded the parts together. Painted the frames with a paint gun then screwed sheets of wood into them to complete the gate. Loaded the gates onto a trailer then installed them on site.
