As an Innovation Analyst III, I continue to collaborate with 2-3 small businesses per month to provide strategic insights and recommendations of next steps to take in the commercialization journey. I also collaborate with investigators and small businesses funded by the NHLBI Catalyze Program to provide commercialization support, which includes end-user engagement, market research and analysis, competitive analysis, and capacity-building and training.With expertise in lean-startups and business models, I also am one of the training co-leads for the Launch Accelerator Program.

I aided Columbia University's Athletics Department in the operation of various sporting events. Duties included set up and break down of fields/courts and various venues, ticketing, in-game ball retrieval, and controlling the scoreboard.

In season, I would dedicate up to 40 hours per week to practice, conditioning, competition, and team meetings, ontop of maintaining a full academic load. I played a crucial role in helping team to its first Ivy League Tournament appearance in program history in 2018 season. I also volunteered with local community organizations and helped mentor/coach a local middle school lacrosse team in Harlem throughout the year.

Assisted with various tasks in the upstream product development lab, including cell culturing, bioreactor studies and experiments, and plaque assay optimization studies. Led weekly discussions in Product Development/Upstream Team meetings.

Worked on creating a protocol for optical phantom making, as well as characterizing optical phantom parameters for a proof of concept experiment. Used a Raman Spectroscopy system to analyze and take data on the phantom models, which were designed to represent different absorption spectrums, as seen by different levels of oxygenated blood in the brain's cortex.

I worked for Luminar's laser design team characterizing lasers. I also conducted my own research and experiments to write a protocol that would allow for the strongest fiber splice procedures.

During my time as an intern with AeroSonix, I worked as a lab assistant to research and develop miniature nebulizers, as well as characterize material selection to be used with this product. I performed tests that were used to both calculate the size of particles of medication this product could emit, as well as how often the nebulizer heads would need replacement for maximum efficiency in drug delivery.
