Software EngineerVerklizan Aug 2017 - Aug 2019SliedrechtAfter graduation, Bram was hired at Verklizan as a software engineer. He was assigned to add new features to the already implemented graduation product: "Prevention Web" (see Bram's previous position at Verklizan). This way, the product could be used by customers.Furthermore, Verklizan has a desktop application core product called Alarmpost. This is where the operator gets in contact with the client and sees all their information (see Bram's previous position). This desktop application needed to be modernized into a web application. Because of the good looking (and fast) implementation of Prevention Web, Bram became responsible for setting up the front-end project. Together with other colleagues, they modernized the functionalities by discussing the needs of stakeholders. As a result of this, new mockups were created and implemented in the front-end web application.Techniques used included Azure DevOps (street), Angular, Angular Components, C# Selenium UI testing, WebSockets, RxJS and TypeScript.

Software EngineerVerklizan Jan 2017 - Jul 2017Sliedrecht, Provincie Zuid-Holland, NederlandAt Verklizan, Bram obtained his diploma after an inspiring graduation internship. The assignment given to him was to create an innovative proof of concept for a prevention module within the existing UMO platform, which functions as a healthcare monitoring system. The UMO platform consists of modules such as "alarmpost" (where the operator gets in contact with the client), "client-info" (client data can be viewed and managed), "well-being" (which helps the operator to contact the client over phone and to register the well-being of this client) and other modules.Within healthcare centers, it is common that when a client presses a button of an alarm box, the client comes into contact with the operator through Alarmpost. The operator then resolves the problems of the client. In this situation, pressing the button is the trigger for the operator to get into action. When providing preventive care, sensors need to register data from the client (for example: heart rate, movement within the home and medication). The registration of data from these sensors and questionnaires can lead to preventive care. In this situation, exceeding a given data boundary or a wrong trend would be the trigger for the operator to take action.Bram's assignment was to create an innovative proof of concept called the prevention module. This prevention module helps the operator to set out/manage well-argued actions for clients based on, among other things, client information, graphs and a good process flows for the operator.Bram and team realized the prevention web application module through, among other things: TFS (now Azure DevOps) DTAP-street, Angular framework, C# Selenium UI Testing, and .NET Core.
