Provide user-friendly assistance for individuals having technical problems with electronic devices. Take calls and provide support for the issues that can be dealt with. Otherwise, elevate to a higher level technician so that the user is taken care of appropriately.

Unloaded weekly inventory trucks as well as placed products on the floor and stored them in the backroom. Was trained to work with personal data assistants for everyday use as well as heavy equipment such as fork lifts and electric pallet jacks. Learned several different inventory management responsibilities such as auditing inventory in different ways and checking vendors, and their products, in and out of the store. Trained to respond to hazmat situations within the store. Also learned some ordering techniques that Target used when product reserves were exhausted. Worked with Targets online ordering system from the store to provide products for customers who ordered their items online.

Responsible for smooth semester check in and exit of all residents on my floor. Acted as advisor to residents, conducted monthly interviews with each person, and wrote and filed related reports. Maintained monthly bulletin boards and planned and coordinated social activities. Insured that all Colorado Mesa University rules were adhered to, and followed up with appropriate authorities when violations were found. Worked closely with other RAs, supervisors, campus security and on occasion, Grand Junction Police Department. Front desk duties included monitoring all incoming persons to the hall, and filling out and filing necessary forms. Also sorted mail during the 2012-2013 semesters and logged in and distributed packages that were mailed to residents. Extra skills gained from the Resident Assistant position in particular include emergency response and some crisis management.

Answered incoming calls, assisted customers in the office, typed, filed, organized and copied paperwork for meetings, assisted in the distribution of beneficial insects, and examined natural vegetation to determine weed population. I also assisted the Dolores County Treasurer in preparing the tax notices for 2009 and 2010. The summers of 2010, and 2012 I worked for the Dolores County Road and Bridge Department. I mowed weeds at the sides of county roads with the road crew’s tractor, repaired traffic signs, serviced vehicles, and preformed general maintenance.
