I'm a Co-Founder and Director of Public Policy for Change the Air Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization helping families across the country breathe safe indoor air. Serving as Director of Public Policy, I head our organization’s advocacy development and implementation strategies. In working closely with community stakeholders and elected officials, I aim to bring much-needed attention to the worldwide epidemic of poor indoor air quality and the need for improved standards nationwide.I've worked tirelessly with state legislators and constituents in Ohio, Illinois, Florida, Iowa, Hawaii and Pennsylvania which has led to the creation of eight state bill proposals surrounding safe indoor air quality. I was also deeply involved in the creation federal legislation, the Healthy at Home Act (H.B. 5533, S. 2834), which aims to combat toxigenic indoor mold for residential and HUD housing. I'm dedicated to promoting this serious, yet often overlooked public health issue until lasting change is achieved.
