Brandon Cage Email and Phone Number
My contribution to the scientific community has been primarily through the creation of simulations. In undergraduate school, I developed a Particle-In-Cell (PIC) simulation code in MATLAB, which I later translated to C++ in order to perform better. In my graduate career, I built on the Geant4 library to simulate particle interactions, modeling a physical experiment I conducted at the Texas Petawatt Laser facility, which was conducted on the San Diego Supercomputer Center. I have also utilized the FLASH code developed by the University of Rochester to model experiments at the OMEGA Laser Facility.
