Provide support to community members currently live on Epic's EHR software by helping troubleshoot issues as well as guide IT and Operations towards the most effective implementation of the software to fit their organization's needs. Internally, I work on projects related to one of Epic’s ancillary applications, Clinical Case Management, in order to improve its overall functionality. I also serve as a knowledge expert on said application and am a subject matter expert for other Technical Solutions Engineers at Epic when they have questions about the application.I also mentor and advise new Technical Solutions Engineer team members. I help guide new hires through learning the processes at Epic and guide them through the journey to becoming an effective Technical Solutions Engineer. As an advisor I guide new hires on how to best support customers and make sure the level of support the customer is receiving isn't impacted during transitions between Technical Solutions Engineers that are staffed to the customer.

Worked closely with the eight professors who teach the course to streamline the logistics of the course by ensuring all lecture slides and homework assignments are posted in a timely manner.Communicated among the professors, graders, and the other Graduate Student Instructor in order to effectively distribute the homework assignments as well as grade them. Worked on the WIAMan project to develop a crash test manikin to be used in under-body blast (UBB) events. Analyzed CT scans in order to determine bone mass density, limb masses, as well as lumbar spine vertebral areas.Performed autopsies on cadaver specimens post-test in order to assess injuries sustained from drop tower test. Developed a standard operating procedure after conducting literature review research to develop a method to accurately determine the bone mass density of the lumbar spine using CT scan data.

North Campus Research Complex

Worked in a laboratory setting to synthesize PLGA nanoparticles to be used as a controlled-released drug delivery system. In addition, aided with the processing of particles by adding specific antigens to induce tolerance in an attempt to counter autoimmune disorders, such as Multiple Sclerosis. Furthermore, I examined and processed the organs of mice affected by MS to determine the effectiveness of the nanoparticles.
