As a partner in Vistablock, we develop multi-family residential and industrial projects in Central PA. We have 6 large multi-family projects that we are developing: 3 along the 283 corridor between Lancaster and Harrisburg - a total of 850 units across the three projects; and 3 others scattered around Lancaster and Chester County. I publish one article a year on New Year's Day with my list of 52 books for that year. I always appreciate a good book recommendation from friends, colleagues, and especially complete strangers. I practiced law for over 12 years at Morgan Lewis, Stevens & Lee, and Saxton & Stump, becoming a partner at Saxton & Stump in 2017 before accepting this opportunity to build a real estate development company. With my landlord-tenant experience in MDJ courts, I collaborated with a childhood friend to launch a legal start-up technology company, CourtZip, for filing documents online in the ~550 magisterial district courts in Pennsylvania. By geocoding and updating a database of customized fees for each district, we are striving to save - on an annual basis - over a million unnecessary phone calls between filers and court staff, thousands of incorrect filing fee/wrong court notices, and millions of dollars in postage. We moved home from Chicago in 2010 and have two boys (10 and 7). They provide me seemingly endless opportunities to perfect my negotiation skills and practice my stoicism.
