I am a retired certified law enforcement officer with a remarkable career spanning since 2004. As s supervisor for over a decade I tend to be a team oriented open-minded empathetic leader that values what diversity brings to the table and a mentor that wants to help others around achieve success. A leader that communicates and values respect , integrity, and accountability. My dedication to community policing has been highlighted by a viral social media posts and most recently a viral video in 2019, recognized nationwide, even by the presidential administration, for recognition of my Community Policing skills in a time when our nation was hurting over the differences between civilians and law enforcement. My genuine interactions have endeared myself to my community, reflected both personally and professionally. Additionally, I am a devoted family man, married for over 25 years and a father of four, who has also fostered and helped in the adoption of two children while raising his own with his School Teacher spouse. Being the youngest of ten siblings raised on 20 acres in the middle of the woods, I actively engage in physical activities like half marathons, 5 & 10k runs, obstacle course races, hiking , swimming and most outdoor activities . Moreover, my love for animals shines through, evident in my affection for my own 15 pets that’s a never ending rotation of all rescue animals.
