    I currently serve as the University of Maryland’s Assistant Biosafety Officer and Alternate Responsible Official. I assist in the management of the Department of Veterinary Medicine’s BSL-3+ select agent and the Department of Microbiology’s non-select agent BSL-3. I also sit on various committees including the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and the IBC at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center.
