Served as lead planner for 3d Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) to support 1st Marine Division’s Exercise STEEL KNIGHT to explore tablet-based Digital Interoperability between MV-22 Ospreys and Marines on the ground in long-range raids; served as 3d MAW planner for corps-level Marine Expeditionary Force exercise (MEFEX) in which all elements of the MAGTF were exercises in a simulated environment.

Lead Contingency Operational Planning, Crisis Response, and Operational Synchronization

Brought Combat Logistics Regiment (CLR) 3 in Okinawa that had failed its Commanding General’s Inspection (CGI) up to acing the more thorough Field Supply and Maintenance Assistance Office (FSMAO) inspection in less than six months.

While deployed to Bahrain in support of operation ENDURING FREEDOM, brought together 33 disparate nations – to include Iraq, south American, European, Asiatic, and other Arab nations – to successfully plan and execute CENTCOM’s inaugural International Mine Countermeasures Exercise (IMCMEX); Led Crisis Action Team (CAT) in response to an exploded multinational vessel that was drifting into the coast of Qatar, ensuring expedient support and minimal loss of life and limb.

Upon moving to Okinawa, led planning in support of Thai Flood Relief efforts tasked from Department of State (DOS) which required personnel to deploy within 96 hours to this crisis. Additionally, planned Marine Logistics Group (MLG) participation in multilateral exercise COBRA GOLD and Thai/US simulation exercise.

As Simulation Officer for the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL), conducted an experiment in 29 Palms that evaluated Moving Target Engagement Simulation systems to determine which simulation system best improved Marines’ ability to shoot at moving targets. Sponsored a myriad of simulation studies. Served on Human Performance subcommittee for annual International/Industry Simulation and Education conference (I/ITSEC).

2002-2003: Successfully commanded a company of more than 350 Sailors and Marines while at the same time running a camp of more than 2,500 Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines, for the initial invasion into Iraq as part of operation IRAQI FREEDOM as part of Transportation Support Group (TSG), which provided transportation support to the primary MC warfighter, I MEF, through its invasion in to Baghdad. 2000-2002: Off-loaded and successfully regenerated MPF Operations in support of exercise BRIGHT STAR 11 days after 9-11 in Egypt. Additionally, conducted Helicopter Support Team missions and served as French translator for the Army and between MC and French forces during the exercise. Ran port, air, and beach operations in support of I MEF.
