● Managed the development, publishing, and submission of a significant funding proposal for Ontario Health Integrated Virtual Care funding on behalf of the Mid-West Toronto Ontario Health Team (MWT-OHT). This has since been successfully funded and is being implemented as "In Your Corner", a multi-partner navigation service for people who use drugs in Toronto. ● Served on the MWT-OHT Secretariat, facilitating cooperation between a wide array of diverse stakeholders, including executives and people with lived experience. This joint effort succeeded in using scarce resources more effectively and working to better integrate healthcare for structurally vulnerable populations. This role involved organizing and carrying out large virtual meetings, completing critical Ministry of Health reporting, and outlining a workplan for timely completion of essential accountabilities.● Directed large, interdisciplinary teams (40+ staff) as the Operations Lead at several fixed and pop-up MWT-OHT-organized COVID-19 vaccination clinics, striving to increase vaccine uptake, minimize waste of precious vaccine doses, as well as ensure client and staff safety.● Facilitated the hiring of an OHT Impact Fellow through the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, crafting a Statement of Interest on behalf of the MWT-OHT, interviewing candidates, and making recommendations for the preferred Fellow, who was ultimately hired.● Initiated the recruitment of Patient and Caregiver Advisors for the MWT-OHT’s Executive Advisory Committee, interviewing people with lived experience to inform and disseminate a role description in an effort to increase diversity of perspective in this Executive body’s decision-making.● Learned about and engaged with many models of executive governance, including the early stages of OHT development and Kensington Health’s well-established non-profit Board of Directors
