I have worked as an expedition guide at Coldfoot Camp in Coldfoot, Alaska. As a guide, I took guests out on multiple different trips including whitewater rafting trips, packrafting trips, snowmobiling trips, dog mushing trips, and different guided backpacking trips. As a guide, my goal was to both keep guests safe while also providing them with an exciting experience and a better understanding of the Arctic ecosystem.

While in college, I have experience working as a student employee at the Yale University Art Gallery in the Rights and Reproductions department. I primarily worked in reviewing and approving requests to reproduce art in publications and books as well as working in the Gallery’s database to provide reproductions of our collection to other art galleries across the world.

As a student ambassador, it is my job to give presentations at local high schools in my hometown during Winter and Spring break for the Yale admissions office. These presentations are focused on student interaction and helping recruit students to apply to the university.

Coldfoot, Alaska

I have worked with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as an Interpretive Ranger in Coldfoot, Alaska. I worked primarily at the Arctic Interagency Visitor Center, an interagency center containing employees from the Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, and the Bureau of Land Management. I also completed multiple biological surveys and spent approximately half of my time in the field. I worked on projects including bird banding, duck banding, bear camera setting, and illegal hunter recon.

Edmond, Ok

I was the founder and teacher of a free ACT prep class for Native American students in Edmond, Oklahoma. This class was held once a week and focused on different aspects of the test and strategies to master it. The class held a consistent rise in scores and is still being taught today by high-scoring student volunteers.
