Preparing and recommending supplemental policy and program instruction affecting the logistical support operations in such areas as supply, food service and transportation. Performing Property Book Officer Duties and managing all inventories using Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-ARMY) and Property Book Unit Supply- Enhanced (PBUSE) system. Working with the Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL) procedures for the Battalion. Providing input and monitoring the budget for logistical requirements. Reviewing requisitions against authorized allowances according to the appropriate authorization document. Analyzing recurring reports and through personal observation analyzing equipment and other needs to support logistical operations. Recommending the disposition and redistribution of excess equipment and materiel consistent with established priorities and training needs as required. Assist in the screening and monitoring of annual training and determining equipment needs which may include coordinating with commands and installations on a nationwide basis. Conducts periodic and special staff visits throughout the command. Providing interpretation of regulations, directives, and policies. Assists and provides technical guidance to commanders and staff officers on logistical matters.

Assumed position of Automated Logistics Specialist for the Battalion's Maintenance Department, duties include; responsibility for Direct Support Automotive maintenance operations and accountability of high dollar property for the Department of The Army. Advisor to the Battalions maintenance officer in the initiating and maintaining of internal and external SOPs. Develops, plans, and initiates logistics goals for the daily work schedule. Formally and informally presents instruction on the proper way to schedule vehicle services, vehicle repairs, and Preventative Maintenance, using reference materials such as Technical Libraries as strict guidelines. Supervises, trains, and assists employees in the resolving problems in the logistics areas of plans, doctrine, training, personnel, supply and maintenance.

Assumed position of Automated Logistics Specialist for the Supply Support Activity (SSA); provided knowledge and guidance to employees. Independently organized teams within the Supply Support Activity (SSA); increasing maintenance quality and availability. Played a vital role in the management of work flow within in the Supply Support Activity (SSA); established command priorities within the sections. Also established production goals as necessary, evacuated end items, and coordinated for disposal to the proper locations. Established and maintained stock records and other documents such as inventory, materiel control, accounting and supply reports. Corrected error and exception documents. Reviewed and verified quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents. Maintained stock locator system and administers document control procedures. Processed request, and turn-in documents at direct support level through warehousing section. Processed inventories, surveys and warehousing documents.
