Supervises and develops production shift personnel to perform operations according to sound operating principles and company policies and procedures, to meet established performance goals by utilizing high integrity and ethical behavior at all times.20-60 direct production personnel in two departments Thermoformers and EcoJackets (Leads, Machine Operator, Packers) Maintenance Technicians, Quality Assurance Technician and Material handlers (Indirectly-reports to another dept but responsible for during night shift)Anticipates and determines the cause of delay in shift operations and takes appropriate action to execute production schedule as planned.Execute production schedule and goals by reviewing daily production schedules. Reports promptly to Manager and Planning if the production schedule cannot be executed as planned.Maintains approachability with all employees at all levels by conducting oneself ethically and in compliance with all company employee relations.Maintain accurate time and attendance (payroll, PTO and Sick time) and assist with applicant interviews and other assigned duties.Conduct continuous improvement exercises and practices to improve operations by motivating, communicating and coaching the team.Safety walks every 1-2 hours to ensure all employees are wearing or in compliance with PPE and or looking for any potential safety hazards. Train all new hires, safety and ongoing developments of the team.
