About Brandon Ramberg
Everyone should have access to great mental health care. Struggling with my own mental health and anxiety has motivated me and given me insight to empathize and help others who may be struggling with their own mental health. Now more than ever, it is critical that we take care of our mental health. Increasing use of technology has led to a mass exposure of traumatic worldwide events. Mass media has created an unrealistic expectation of how an individual should look or behave. This newfound pressure from mass media fosters an environment full of anxiety. I am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree and serve as a clinical intern for Sandstone Care, a therapy based service in Colorado Springs. Under my program and internship, I am learning how to help and treat individuals each day.I am passionate about working in the field of mental health and care deeply about it. Changing the perception towards mental health and individuals who have struggled with mental health can help to break down the stigma surrounding it. I am here to engage with other individuals who are just as passionate about amplifying mental health advocacy. Patient Access Specialist Sr
Clinical Social Work Intern
Through my clinical social work internship with Sandstone Care, I work to provide treatments for young adults struggling with mental health and substance use problems. Through individual and group treatment methods, we work to better the wellbeing of young adults in the Colorado Springs area. I conduct Biopsychosocial, CSSR-S, PHQ-9, and GAD-7 assessments when necessary for clients. I also lead psych-education activities with group members and help them process their struggles as they relate to substance use and mood disorders.

Through my position, I help coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and treatment questions. I helped streamline the process of our cochlear implant referrals with our audiologists, and have helped with developing an authorization process for our state of the art vestibular testing program. I am able to compassionately help patients with their medical problems, and work to get patients the care they need, when they need it.
