• Evaluate and diagnose the sanitation level of facilities by inspecting food service establishments such as: Retail Food Service, Daycare Centers, Complaints, Tattoo/Body Piercing Studios, Swimming Pools, Camps, Hotel/Motels, Institutions and Hospital dietary areas, and Convenient/Grocery Stores. • Informed/update facilities with the current 2009 Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Code. • Enforce/uphold local and state laws by The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH), Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) to every permitted environmental sanitation establishment.• Follow policies and procedures when conducting routine inspections.• Record confidential information, and demonstrate a positive, professional attitude, when communicating information that is not in compliance with local and state laws.• Investigate Foodborne Outbreaks or Illnesses complaints as necessary.• Partner with other associations such as: Memphis Restaurant Association, Fedex Forum, Memphis In May Organizers, Pride Fest organizer, and other groups to assure there informed of new regulations.• Educate and empower the community by participating in joint training sessions w/ stakeholders and speak at community events to enlighten the community on laws and regulations that may affect their access to public facilities.• Assure competent by participating in quality control checks, standardization, TDA, TDH, and FDA conference/training courses.

• Examine skin specimens received and provide gross dictation for each specimen. • Differentiate ink specimens according to type, amount, and size. • Describe and measure specimens according to specimen type identified on protocols. • After grossing (sectioning & inking) of the specimens, tissue cassettes were placed in a bucket containing Formaldehyde 10% NBF.• Deliver cassettes w/ tissue specimens to processing area in histology lab. • Instruct the doctors on what angle of the specimen is being viewed.
