My life has taken me through an array of quality and memorable experiences.Most notably my education at Mercyhurst University where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Media & Communication. I studied in classes in journalism, broadcasting, social media, communication, corporate social responsibility, graphic design, and more. The knowledge and experiences I had throughout my four and a half years will carry with me throughout the rest of my life, I'm forever thankful for all of it.The most proud thing on my resume is my time with Laker Student Media, Mercyhurst University’s official digital media club. I started in the club as soon as I got to campus and began hosting my own pro sports talk show “Anchor Management” which lasted until the pandemic in March of my Freshman year. The club was, for the most part, idle until the beginning of my Senior year where I inherited the President position of the club. Through the work of myself and my classmates, that I have the honor to call friends, we revived the club and published over 25 videos throughout the 2022-23 school year on Mercyhurst news, events, athletics, and comedy segments.I took on a part-time job at Widget Financial as a Floating Teller before my Junior year of college to make some money through school. It was a great experience working with and meeting great people within the organization and my community.My internship led me to an opportunity with Country Fair, a local convenience store chain, which needed someone with experience in video editing to help their social media presence. They couldn’t have found a better candidate, and I couldn’t have found a better fit to complete my internship hours. I was able to create videos to help promote the company’s relaunch of their fuel savings app Club Citgo, promote in-store productsI liked Widget so much that after my internship with Country Fair ended, I stayed on to become a Teller Coordinator at their main office on East Lake Road. I'm proud to say that I was trusted to be in that role without any full-time working experience at all, let alone with Widget.I officially graduated from Mercyhurst in December 2023 and at that time, I decided to begin my career in the Communication field, which led me to my current position as a Digital Content Producer through JET 24 Action News, where I contribute to writing online articles and update YourErie.com with the latest local news.
