Newlands Nursery is a local business that sells plant specimens in the earlier stages of their development. My role was the preparation, care and maintenance of these species until they were ready for sale to the consumer. This included manual labour, such as shovelling compost (for the transfer of plants to larger pots) and aiding in the construction of the concrete pathways and beds used around the nursery. In addition to interactions with the customers and the stocking of some display and growing areas.
