I led the implementation of the Level Playing Field chapter of the TCA, whilst also determining our strategy for managing EU disputes across the Withdrawal Agreement and the TCA. I have also led on developing and renegotiating State Aid in the Northern Ireland Protocol.

I led a branch of 2 to implement the Chancellor's priorities for Goods chapters in the TCA negotiations, account managing Tariffs, Rules of Origin, Customs, SPS, TBT and Fish.

In this role I had oversight of public spending on State Pensions and Pensioner Benefits policy. From April 2020, I also led on the delivery of the Statutory Sick Pay rebate scheme in response to the Coronavirus pandemic

In the Trade Policy team I was the HM Treasury lead for Rules of Origin and No Deal Tariff Legislation, and supported the policy work for designing a UK Tariff Policy. I also led on the analysis of Tariff Revenue forecasts that were published in the EU Exit Analysis 2018.

I completed a years placement at Her Majesty's Treasury between my second and final year at University. I was employed through the Government Economic Service and based in the Banking and Credit team of the Financial Services department within HM Treasury, working across projects on Payments; Mortgages and FinTech.
