As a Leasing Agent, my main focus is to my clients and helping them find homes. My main responsibility is responding to inquires via email, text, phone in a timely manner and providing exceptional service to my clients. After initial contact I gather information on their wants and needs and send them listings that meet their criteria. We set up a time for a showing and continue to build our relationship eventually leading to a closing. I have average 10k in sales. I have achieved this by managing my time and clients in ProsperWorks, lead generation with my postings, building relationships, and prompt follow up.

I was tasked with a project regarding laser work. I gained experience in LaserDESK, which is a software that controls how the laser operates. My main tasks were ablating diamond to form the shape of lens using different geometries and creating a simulation in COMSOL of the temperature profile through different materials as the laser ablates the material away. I was also tasked with creating a solidworks assembly for the set up of the laser system, general research, and contacted vendors.

As a substitute teacher I taught any grade k-12 and any subject. I mainly tried to stick with high school although I did do elementary. One thing I thought was a great experience for me was working with autistic children. While it was difficult at times it was also rewarding because I was able to help the students learn.

As a Supervisor at Memorial Union I managed three separate units: Rathskeller, Stiftskeller, and Brat Stand.At times I was responsible for 20+ plus employees making sure they were doing their job efficiently and effectively ensuring a smooth experience for our customers. I also was in charge of providing training for new employees. One of the difficulties I encountered was the communication barrier between employees who spoke English as a second language but I quickly learned how to effectively communicate. Customer service was our highest priority and I was able to accomplish this by listening to our customers' needs and responding in a professional manner. Another Responsibility I had was handling a $30,000 safe. I was in and out of the safe making cash bags and doing change runs for cashiers. I also had to count the safe at open and at close. Being a supervisor here has allowed me to thrive in a high stress high volume environment as there were often lines of customers 10+ people deep at each of the 4 registers. Excellent judgement had to be made in order to keep food up to par for the amount of customers present.

As an Intern at Wi-Tronix I was mainly in charge of quality assurance and testing. My main project was creating step by step test cases for software deployments. These test cases had to cover all aspects and functionality of the website. Therefore I had to know the ins and outs of the website and the functionality of each individual page in order to accurately write the test cases. The main goal for writing these test cases were they had to be detailed enough to where someone who had no experience with the website could follow the instructions and proper test the functionality. I often had to test and diagnose hardware sent back from customers and quickly find a solution so I could send it to production so it could be corrected. I also tested new software on product to ensure it function properly. Another responsibility of mine was general data entry, whether it be diagnostics from the website or results from testing. One experience I found quite useful was HALT testing. This gave me first hand insight on how product can be tested for conditions it may experience in the field. After my second summer with Wi-Tronix I was able to work remotely during the fall and spring semesters.
