As a Field and Sales Agronomist I make pesticide, fertilizer, and liming recommendations. I strive to find the appropriate hybrid or variety to place on producers fields. I work with a multitude of seed ranging from wheat, corn, soybeans, alfalfa, cover crops, and many more. I very frequently go on sales calls through a large trade territory to provide great customer service and be a sales representative that truly cares about what is in their best interest. I also work with producers to find better management strategies across a wide range of soil types. I work closely with technologies that can help producers maximize their yield potential whether that be through variable rate soil sampling, tissue sampling, fertilizers, seed treatments, and other pesticides.

Work consists of driving tractors and trucks, shovel work, chainsaw use, repairing and installing fence, cleaning grain bins, yard work, tractor washing, and repairing implements. Process cattle with shots, brand, and other duties as assigned

Performed most of the duties required in running the elevators at the Haven location. Provided customer service to farms and truckers hauling in grain, loading out grain, and purchasing feed. Cleaned, pressure washed, replaced belt rollers, replaced belts, adjusted legs to run more efficiently, cleaned grain bins, sprayed chemicals, and other various duties. Traveled to other MKC locations to help pull tarps over bunkers and leveling grain in flat grain storage buildings

Experienced many different aspects and departments of MKC. Cleaned out the seed treater room, treated seed, performed tissue and soil sampling. Made application recommendations.

Use of 4-Wheeler to monitor field/crop conditions. Developed understanding of fungicide, pesticide and herbicide uses. Searched for a problems, identified them and suggested treatment. Problems ranged from water usage to fertility, weed, disease, and insect pressure.

Work consisted of: Halter-break bucket calves, steers, and heifers. Managed feeding and care for 4-H and FFA animals as well as regular ranch animals. Livestock transportation, cleaned pens, fence work, processed cattle, mowed and mower repair.
