Since graduating, I have spent my career to date as a professional athlete. My Business Management degree, combined with experiences gained as a Professional Ice Hockey player have afforded me the opportunity to learn a number of highly transferable skills that will hold me in good stead in the business world. There is obviously a wealth of knowledge in the area of team work and working with others toward a common goal but I value a number of other areas of knowledge also. Stakeholder management, leadership and dispute resolution are chief among these. In several of my roles within the structure of the team I have been elevated to the role of Captaincy which is in essence, a team leadership role. I enjoy leadership responsibilities and believe they bring out the best in me personally.
