- Responsible for a fleet of OTR drivers, as well as roll-off truck drivers, loading, and unloading, picking up, and delivering loads of scrap metal for a recycling company- Working directly with new and existing customers to make sure they are serviced in a timely manner, while also keeping them up-to-date on industry trends- Responsible for, and involved in, all aspects of operations...dispatching, scheduling pick ups and deliveries, trouble-shooting route issues, etc- Responsible for controlling all dispatching, load tickets, and reporting through Shared Logic (RIMAS / TMS)

Responsibilities include: - Direct management of all aspects of the Chesapeake Terminal- Including managing 25+ drivers operating 15 tanker trucks, 2 mechanics, and 2 dispatchers- Responsible for ensuring safe, consistent, on time delivery of petroleum to several 7-Elevens, Krogers, Sam’s Clubs, and Wawa’s across Hampton Roads- Ensuring, along with best in class customer service, our #1 focus was always on safety. Maintaining the highest quality processes and procedures, in an on-going effort to be in compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, and DOT…and making sure everyone was returning home safely after each shift

• Responsible for leading a team of 4 Supervisors, managing warehousing operations for 3 warehouses…loading/unloading containers, trucks, and rail cars, as well as being accountable for the safety for each individual working in or around these warehouses• Also responsible for leading a team of 10-12 customer service representatives. Each of which are tasked with managing, nurturing, and growing relationships at multiple levels with all of our inbound and outbound customers• Working daily with our crews to ensure containers and trailers are loaded and delivered to the port on time to meet vessel cut off dates• Helped develop processes and procedures to assist with inventory flow in and out of the warehouse through inventory checklists and cycle counts, so containers could be loaded quicker and more efficiently• Partnered with our OSHA management team through our parent company, Logistec, to implement new processes and protocols to ensure we're doing everything possible to provide a safe, secure working environment
