Current• Working inside substations while specializing in Green jacket animal abatement installation • Equipment demolition of onsite warehouse and building no longer being used by pg&e• General cleanup of onsite substation we were currently servicing making sure to leave it better than when we first arrived • Must work safely at all times as defined by PG&E’s safety standards and procedures.• Follow the direction of their journeyman, crew lead and/or supervisor at all times.• Must be able to read and comply with all required company standards and procedures.• Must work in a team environment.• Load and unload equipment, material, job site debris and maintain housekeeping according to PG&E’s safety standards and procedures.• Perform construction and maintenance on gas lines and underground electric infrastructure.• Maintain tools and equipment.• May be required to perform traffic control functions under the direction of a Gas Crew Leader.• Ability to pass a medical assessment to wear respirator protection as needed when working around gaseous or hazardous atmosphere.• Ability to travel and transfer to a new headquarter upon request at any time; throughout the entire PG&E service territory with no guarantees on how long you will be assigned away from your base headquarters.• Contribute toward Gas Safety Excellence goals by improving safety, reliability and affordability for one or more asset families and one or more life cycles.• Performs pipe wrapping duties.• Assists in construction and maintenance and other miscellaneous semi-skilled work.• Performs semi-skilled work assisting a higher classified employee.• DOT-Operations/Maintenance AND Emergency
