Brandon practices in all areas of international taxation and regularly advises on issues relating to cross border restructuring, subpart F, foreign tax credit planning, tax treaties and global tax rate reduction. He specializes in stock and asset acquisitions, including managing and conducting tax due diligence, consideration of intellectual property purchase and migration strategies, and structuring transactions to align with the clients strategic and operational goals. He has also assisted companies in obtaining private letter rulings and worked with the IRS on audits and abatement of penalties. Brandon has written, spoken and lectured on topics including section 956, section 367, FATCA, value-added tax, taxation of virtual currencies and foreign tax issues creating financial statement implications for U.S. multinationals.
