My current role involves admin tasks for the L2P program at the City of Casey as well as practical work on the road with learner clients from this program. A hybrid role both admin tasks and client face to face tasks. I was in university at Queensland - Sunshine Coast, got high grades and eventually got offered a scholarship to live in Japan for 12 months. I taught English here using both Japanese and English language to teach effectively and efficiently. I mainly taught adult students ranging from 20 to 80 years of age. I was fully responsible for the classroom teaching style and how the classes were structured. To this day I still hear from my students even though I have moved back to Australia. I hear lots of praise for my teaching methods and made many friends out of this period of my stay in Japan.
