Consulting contract with Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System supporting all areas of Epic HIM and Identity for FMOLHS and their Community Connect Hospitals. ● Designed and implemented a new CDI and Coding Post-discharge communication workflow allowing Coders to request Queries that are eventually reviewed by Coding Supervisors and then CDI Supervisors.● Designed, built and tested a solution for clinics to use Quick Release for sending specific documentation to external vendors via Fax while being able to review and follow-up on failed faxes.● Revised simple visit coding criteria to better capture and more accurately code oncology infusions visits with the appropriate diagnosis sequencing.● Worked with the CDI leadership team to redesign their CDI WQ structure. Built out new WQs and deactivated some old WQs. Provided guidance and recommendations on WQ filtering, sorting and navigating for CDI managers who assign reviews and also for CDI users who are performing reviews.
