Senior Network Engineer
CurrentLead Network Engineer • Install and configuration for Enterprise network infrastructure consisting of HPN routers, switches, Checkpoint Firewalls, F5 Load balancers, Tipping Point IPS for 22 datacenters globally• Create rack layouts, floor plans, Bill of Materials, and cabling documentation for onsite resources• Manage installation & cabling of expansion network switches, firewalls & enclosures; support customer needs.• Configure and upgrade new expansion network devices (59xx series switches, 6120XG/6125XLG blade switches, and Checkpoint firewalls R77.30/R80.10 Gaia), ensure all security requirements are met and facilitate move to production environment on strict timelines to meet customer needs.• Monitor and manage existing firewall devices and lead the installation and configuration of firewall expansion(s) as needed to meet capacity needs.• Maintain a system of record of all network devices for ease of tracking and provide a centralized location of device information to assist with troubleshooting and other needs.• Lead contractors and assist L1, L2, and fellow L3 engineers with any network related issues they encounter and are unable to resolve• Remote management using VPN, SSH, RDP, and Terminal Services• Provide escalation procedure support for onsite requirements as needed Cable trace/test, Hands-Eyes Support
