Brandon Freeman is a strategic advisor and startup executive specializing in helping companies pivot their product and go-to-market strategies as market opportunities shift. Most recently, he led a successful startup pivot and exit to ServiceNow, where he now helps lead the startup’s integration. Brandon's experience comes from building the smartphone, Internet-of-Things (IoT), and smart cities industries as an executive at technology startups and multinational corporations. Prior to his current roles, Brandon led the development and go-to-market of billion dollar strategic campaigns at Leidos - the nation's largest government IT solutions provider. Brandon also helped lead the smartphone revolution as the first Chief-of-Staff at HTC America, where he led management of the business unit’s PMO and oversaw execution of the annual operating plan, flagship campaigns, and special projects for the region.Brandon joined private industry from EvoNexus where, as its founding COO, he oversaw the creation and management of one of California's most successful startup incubators. Prior to working with early-stage companies, Brandon served in academia at the State of California's wireless communications innovation lab (Calit2), where he worked with principal investigators at the institute to fund, build, and operate new research programs and innovation centers. A well-regarded thought leader and public presenter, Brandon is invited to speak in venues ranging from MIT to the United Nations. A UC San Diego alumnus with a B.S. in Management Science and focus in Computer Engineering, Brandon is also the author of a theoretical physics book, entitled Grand Symphony. Brandon has served multiple terms on the board of the UC San Diego Alumni Association and is actively involved in the community. His interests include auto racing, volleyball, the arts, and philanthropy.
