I am the managing attorney of Becker, Kellogg & Berry, P.C.'s personal injury department and have over fifteen years of experience representing individuals and insurance companies. I have exclusively represented victims of motor vehicle accidents in Virginia, Maryland and D.C. for the past five years. I concentrate my practice on the representation of plaintiff personal injury cases such as motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, animal bites, and slip and fall cases. In addition, I focus on the representation of clients in medical malpractice lawsuits and other civil litigation such as contract law, construction, business and commercial litigation. Prior to beginning my plaintiff personal injury practice, I had worked for over seven years as insurance defense counsel for Allstate, State Farm, CNA, Progressive, and Fireman's Fund insurance companies in Virginia, Maryland and D.C.I majored in Commerce and graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 1990. I received my Juris Doctor from Indiana University at Bloomington School of Law in 1993. I also gained recognition as a Finalist in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition in 1994.I was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1993 and to other bars in subsequent years, including the Maryland Bar in 1994, the District of Columbia Bar in 1995, the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Virginia and U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit in 2000. I began my legal career working in the Office of the Public Defender as Assistant Public Defender for Halifax and Fauquier Counties from 1994 to 1996.Specialties: Litigation involving construction, business, real estate, leasing and contract disputes, auto accidents and other personal injury matters in Fairfax County, Arlington County, the City of Alexandria, Prince William County, Loudoun County, and nearby surrounding areas.
