At my internship at Enhanced Media, I learned and put into practice the workflow of a professional post-production sound company. I worked on a sample project that allowed me to go through the entire process of post sound from sound editing, foley, pre-dubbing, and mixing. That experience not only taught me what I should expect moving forward as an individual doing the entirety of post sound on projects, but also how I can work as a member of a post sound team. I also learned about the administrative duties of a company, how to maintain relationships with clients, and studio maintenance.

I have been working at the Tom & Ethel Bradley Center, a repository of the University Library at California State University, Northridge since 2021. My initial position was a video editor and a transcriptionist for oral history interviews of activists, politicians, and prominent members of the African American community in Los Angeles. This work was done under a grant from The National Endowment for the Humanities. In 2022, I became a senior video editor and led a team of editors in creating archival copies of our oral history interviews as well as a series of clips that are published online. Two of these series are the Black Power Archives and the Farmworker Movement Collection. As a team leader, I wrote a training manual and created instruction videos to train new hires on the recording, editing, and archiving workflow that I helped design. I also did administrative duties like data and server management.I worked on the Farm Worker Movement Collection, also under a grant from The National Endowment for the Humanities, from 2023 to 2024. On top of video editing and filming, I also did research, wrote metadata, and scanned 35mm photographs and prints. This work culminated in an exhibition at the Museum of Social Justice titled "Hope and Dignity: The Farmworker Movement" that ran from August 2024 to January 2025.

As the recipient of the Formosa Group Sound with Vision Scholarship in 2022, I had the wonderful opportunity to intern at Formosa Group. I shadowed and learned from a plethora of industry professionals in post-production sound, from supervising sound editors, re-recording mixers, sound editors, engineers, mix technicians, runners, payroll, studio coordinators, sound designers, librarians, and more. This comprehensive tour of the various jobs in post-production sound gave me knowledge of the various avenues I could take in my career. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to have the unique access to the knowledge, facilities, and people from this internship.
