• Work with students and professionals on communicating with professional, public, and general audiences• Develop technical/professional/business communication curriculum and alter current curricular and standards to better meet the students' needs• Guest lectures and workshops on technical and professional communication• Tutor senior design students on professional writing, presentations, communicating with clients, and creating project posters• Create a technical communication manual for ISYE students• Collaborate with other communication resources on Campus

Academic Advising Support: • Support the academic office during registration, specifically with implementing permits, overloads and restriction overrides, class schedule changes and meeting with students concerning general academic questions and registration issues. • Assist students with their scholarship and graduate fellowship applications including those for the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship program.Writing Communication Support: • Provide leadership in the development and delivery of a program focused on improving technical writing. o Coach senior design students on technical writing, o Co-teach undergraduate courses, integrating instruction in written communication into core engineering courses, o Teach a standalone graduate course on written engineering communication that can be used to train graduate teaching assistants, and o Create a written engineering communication guide for undergraduate and graduate students. • Guest lecture in engineering courses about writing. • Offer writing workshops to students and faculty.
