Given appropriate documentation, I worked as an advocate for the student to receive reasonable accommodations to provide better access to their learning environments. I also acted as their academic advisor in helping them choose programs of study and stay on track throughout their academic career with MCC.

I started as an inpatient intern and moved into outpatient after one year. In both positions I provided group and individual substance abuse counseling, worked with clients to develop treatment plans and goals, and also helped clients establish after care services.
