The program focused on: social impact, entrepreneurship, agriculture & agri-business, and emerging technologies. Increased program revenue through grants by 75% in 2019 and 200% in 2022. Led the opening of a new makerspace on campus that required new safety protocols, training, and operations, expanding business operations for Agility to support 20% more students.Established an 8-month incubator program for first-time student and alumni founders based on Lean and Design Thinking processes. Each top founder coached through Trailblazing raised a minimum of $10,000 for their business idea within 1 year of completing the program.Coached over 60 first-time founders through customer discovery and establishing business value (i.e., IP).Curated a hackathon model to integrate entrepreneurial thinking into courses where students solved business problems for local non-profits, generating over 12 unique business solutions, of which 25% were adopted as IP for organizations.Established a process to support founders looking to prototype and test possible inventions with support from students and researchers in Agility's makerspace.Co-led a community of practice for Alberta post-secondaries, Entrepreneur Educators of Alberta, to reduce inequities of support for students. Our initial project brought in Ash Maurya to teach Lean across the province, which saw the integration of other support organizations seeking training, making Lean the most shared methodology across the province.Established Agility as a recognized Mitacs business incubator, introducing Mitacs funding to U of L students and researchers for the first time. Currently there are over 6 funded projects.Invited as a professional speaker to Startup Edmonton, 150 Startups, Banff Venture Forum, and U of L's TEDx Talk with a focus on early-stage business development.Awarded U of L Students' Union Dedication Award in 2019.
