Responsible for developing strong relationships with partners, employers, and customers, identifying current and new business needs among existing employers, and working with customers - Transitioning Service Members (TSMs), Veterans, and Military Spouses - to facilitate employment and internship connections. • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned employer accounts, build relationships and rapport with employers that fosters confidence and promotes further business needs. • Provide superior customer service to interested parties who apply to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program. • Evaluate candidate profiles and resumes to determine if they match the internship position descriptions posted by employers and recommend qualified candidates to employers.• Manage multiple employer accounts and clearly communicate the status of each account and status of internship candidates on a routine basis. • Prepare U.S. Military Service-specific DoD SkillBridge documentation for TSMs to gain approval through their command and aid TSMs as requested. • Ensure that 100% of TSMs have the appropriate, approved DoD SkillBridge documentation on file prior to internship start.
