Managing the Planning & Scheduling Department for the Great Lakes District. The District includes sites in Superior Wisconsin, Rapid River & St. Clair Michigan, Cordova Illinois, Windsor and Sarnia Ontario. This role involves leading a team of maintenance planners, schedulers and a turnaround planner. Daily collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Construction teams to efficiently plan and schedule maintenance activities. These activities include asset integrity, capital projects, major maintenance and turnaround projects. To cover this large of an area this role requires periodic travel to all the sites within the district.

Plan & maintain day-to-day operations of facility within regulatory parameters including employee allocation, safety, equipment, and production reports. Contribute to continuous improvement processes and change management communication and initiatives. Manage railcar loading program, employee training program, and process safety program.

Gained extensive leadership and hands-on experience in low-pressure gas processing, high-pressure gas processing, gas sweetening facilities, amine regeneration plant with acid gas injection, and ethane extraction plant. Led safety, environment, and health of employees including reviewing, revising, and writing operations procedures.

Led all aspects of cementing field operations including safety, customer relations, crew organization for well site services, rig-up, execution, policy and procedure compliance, and reporting across a variety of projects. Supervised cement and acid operations in field in remote locations with extreme environmental conditions.

Worked in a small team completing various prototype and limited production runs for the automotive industry. The bulk of our work was for select automotive race teams. Materials used mainly were carbon fiber and Kevlar.
