Design and development of best in class scaleable Adult Day Services program consisting of High school Transition, Day Habilitation, Pre-Employment, Employment, and Vocation Rehabilitation services.

Provided speech-language therapy and applied behavior analytic services in an ABA model in a school setting specialized for individuals with special behavioral needs as well as individuals in the community. Special work tasks included development of staff and new hire trainings, Language & Literacy Program, Pragmatic Language Program, Augmentative and Alternative Communication Program, coordination of the 4 person SLP team, and therapy systems assessment and streamlining.

Provided speech-language therapy services to children who are typically developing, children with autism who are both mainstreamed and in self contained classrooms, and children with severe physical and mental disabili-ties. Development of educational seminars and multi-session training/professional development programs has become a requested part of my position. Program information topics include sensory processing effects on edu-cational tasks, behavior and communication; assistive devices in education, environmental control, and commu-nication; presentations on different levels and types of Alternative Augmentative Communication.

Supported living and teaching center for the intellectually disabled. Responsibilities include dysphagia and total communication evaluation and treatment of individuals with multiple disabilities and social/emotional disorders (Intellectually delayed, Autism, ADHD, deaf, blind, deaf/blind & deaf/blind/quadriplegic etc) requiring develop-ment of various communication systems for AAC and Environmental Control in accordance with specifications set forth in a settlement agreement with the Department of Justice. Supervision of masters students as well as participation in and leading of various professional teams are a daily aspect of the position.

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Noted tasks included assisting with Certified Nursing Assistant training courses, providing monthly in-services and attending facility meetings in managers absence.
