Brandon Craven is a Senior Frontend Engineer, Opendoor Exclusives at Opendoor. Colleagues describe them as "Brandon was a Senior Frontend Engineer when I joined the PAX Labs team, we worked together for over a year. I had regular mentoring sessions with Brandon where he demonstrated not only his extensive experience in everything web engineering but also his interpersonal skills and openness to skill sharing. In a short time Brandon was promoted into an Engineering Manager Role where I reported to him directly. Our weekly one on one mentoring sessions continued while Brandon quickly grew into his new role and responsibilities. He had the loyalty and respect of our entire team, keeping us focused and motivated during a transitional phase at PAX. Though Brandon is a natural leader, he had aspirations to transition into Product Management and after doing so it was apparent he was a huge asset in this new position. While managing the development of new features and products Brandon demonstrated his ability to foresee pain points of different end users and define intuitive, seamless products. During my time Brandon had seen several projects through to completion. As Product Manager, Brandons engineering background made it extremely easy to communicate technical complexities related to the implementation of the new products and features we were implementing. In fact this communication was often unnecessary because he would take these complexities into account during the process of defining a product. In every role Brandon had he demonstrated astute comprehension of his work as well as kindness and compassion for his team and colleagues. He was a pleasure to work with and having helped shape the early stages of my career has left a lasting impression."
