I had the opportunity to be a part of the Worldwide Sustainability team at Amazon, where I contributed to the development of internal tools aimed at achieving Amazon's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. Using React/Typescript, I played a crucial role in frontend development and ensured code quality through unit testing with Jest and React Testing Library. My responsibilities extended beyond the frontend as I actively collaborated with Backend and Data teams to maintain project progress. I advocated for automated testing to enhance the deployment process, and collaborated with the Product team to ensure a unified customer experience.

During my time as an Engineering Manager at PAX, I managed the frontend Consumer Engagement team as we worked on the PAX app for both web and Android platforms. I effectively prioritized feature development, managed sprint workflows, and led a team of three talented Frontend Engineers. My role included regular one-on-one meetings, code reviews, and providing technical guidance. Collaborating cross-functionally with various teams, including Product, Design, Backend, Firmware, and Data, was essential to ensuring project success. I relied on data-driven decision-making, analyzing Superset dashboards to determine feature value, and delivered impactful demos and presentations to Product Directors and C-level executives. I also had the opportunity to dive deep into the Product side of things by regularly meeting with our Customer Service, Consumer Insights, Legal, and Marketing teams to ensure our apps was effectively meeting our customers' needs while maintaining our brand image. During this time I was able act as a Product Manager to oversee the full product lifecycle of launching push notifications for our Andriod app.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at PAX, I took a pivotal role in developing the PAX Web App from the ground up, utilizing React/Typescript and the experimental Web Bluetooth API to enable consumers to connect their PAX devices via Bluetooth on the web. My responsibilities included coordination with the Firmware team, implementing innovative features like pod feedback and Find My PAX, and maintaining code quality through testing and CI/CD practices. I embraced an Agile Scrum environment and actively contributed to code reviews and bug resolution alongside the QA team.
