I am a senior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business management with a focus on leadership and organizational effectiveness; as well as planning to get my masters degree in sports management shortly after. I've been very involved in athletics throughout my life and have always been interested in the world of sports. Sophomore year of college, I began my current role as student manager for the Track and Field team at Tennessee. I quickly learned that I not only loved participating in athletics, I also loved the administrative side of sports. I have since been gaining crucial experience within the athletic department and the business side of sports. This opportunity has allowed me to form many great connections and learn key lessons that will improve my performance and prepare me for a career within the sports industry. In addition, I have completed a leadership certification course through The National Society of Leadership and Success here at the University of Tennessee. Through this course, I completed leadership training and gained many useful skills related to leadership in the business world. Both of these opportunities have allowed me to grow as a leader and individual.
