Brenda Reash has served as Executive Director for the Carteret Community College Foundation since March 2016. She has been with Carteret Community College since January 2008. In this role, she works to strengthen and develop the interest and needs of Carteret Community College. The college represents one of 58 in the North Carolina Community College System. Prior to accepting her current position, Reash served as the Director of the President’s Office at Carteret Community College. During her time in the position of Executive Director, the Foundation has developed new relationships, created cultural events and trips for the community, created three new annual fund raising events and redeveloped the website. Reash currently serves, as a Board Member (Secretary) of the Carteret County League of Women Voters, is a member of the Morehead City – Lookout Rotary, is a member of Beaufort Woman’s Club, is a Board Member (Secretary) of the North Carolina Council of Resource Development, and a member of the NC Council for Non Profits.Reash has lived in Carteret County since 2005. In addition, she holds a Bachelors Degree of Science in Business Administration from Mount St. Mary’s University (2002), a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Strayer University (2014) and a Certificate of Non Profit Management from Duke University (2015).
