My Ph.D. research within the quantum nanoscience department of TU Delft focused on developing a nanoscale magnetic imaging technique based on a single electron spin in diamond to study the elementary excitations of magnets. This work involved:* Designing and building experiments involving optics, atomic force microscopy, and microwave delivery. * Nanofabrication of diamond-based magnetic field sensors in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment. * Writing and presenting of several scientific publications.* Supervision of students for their master's (3) and bachelor's (2) projects.
